The minimum age limit is 23 years and the maximum age limit is 35 years.
The upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years in case of candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC and woman candidates.
The upper age limit for the persons serving in connection with the affairs of the State shall be 40 years.
The upper age limit in case of widow / divorced woman shall be 45 years.
A candidate must hold a degree of Bachelor of Laws (Professional) of any University established by Law.
The examination of RJS shall consist of an objective type preliminary examination, a written examination and an interview. The preliminary examination shall be objective type in which 70% weightage will be given to the law subject and 30 % weight age shall be given to test proficiency in Hindi & English language.
